With Kumho into the summer ECSTA Power Trio for sporty driving fun

Offenbach, Germany – 03.03.2017. The summer can come. For sporty drivers, who put on Kumho tires, very special. In its successful ECSTA family, the Korean manufacturer features three ultra-high-performance tires (UHPs), which are characterized by outstanding handling also in the border area.

The directional Kumho ECSTA PS31 is the right choice for ambitious guys. Four main grooves on the tread and wide transverse grooves in the shoulder area ensure, among other things, a summer rain for improved aquaplaning properties. Stylish design elements on the side wall and tread underline the sporting demands. The summer UHP tire is offered in all standard sizes from 14 to 18 inches and profile widths from 165 to 275 millimeters.

High comfort and sporty character, the Kumho ECSTA PS71 combines. By using state-of-the-art tire technology, optimized block design and high-tech materials, such as the latest generation of styrene butadiene rubber, it also offers excellent traction properties on wet roads and a braking distance of eight percent. The Kumho ECSTA PS71 with an asymmetrical profile design is available in the dimensions 17 to 20 inches and with profile widths of 205 to 275 millimeters.

Sporty, sporty, most sporty: the Kumho ECSTA PS91 has the "(Y)" for over 300 km / h. In order to achieve this speed index, the Kumho engineers have put on a new generation of silica-tread mixes. The result is an ultra-high-performance tire for sports and super sports cars with an outstanding dry handling with extremely short braking distances and extremely sporty characteristics. The ECSTA PS91 rolls in the inch sizes 18 to 20 with profile widths of 225 to 305 millimeters. All 43 sizes are suitable for high-speed fun at its best.

For all (summer) cases the right tire

The Kumho passenger car summer tire program is rounded off with the Kumho ECSTA HS51, which has already proved its balanced performance in many tests. In the case of safety-related criteria, he performed as convincingly as in the purchase price. The tire developed for the European market is available in over 50 sizes from 15 to 18 inches and is particularly suitable for compact and mid-size vehicles.

Drivers of small cars as well as owners of compact vehicles are equally pleased with the high running performance of the ECOWING ES01 KH27 performance-optimized performance tire. With its comfortable and smooth running characteristics as well as excellent handling on wet and dry surfaces, it is a top choice as numerous tests prove.

The optimum tire for high-performance SUVs is the Kumho Crugen HP91. A new-generation silica-tread compound provides excellent handling characteristics on both wet and dry surfaces. The UHP tire convinces with direct steering, high cornering stability and short braking distances.

The new Kumho electric star

The Kumho WATTRUN VS31 is specially designed to meet the special requirements of e-mobility on modern tires. Efficient transmission of torque, low rolling resistance and low weight make it the ideal partner for electric vehicles. The new tire is now available in the dimensions 195/65 R15 91H and 205/55 R16 91V on the European market.

For vans, transporters and travel mobile

For light commercial vehicles, Kumho offers the Portran KC53. Thanks to a robust carcass construction, it combines high running performance with excellent traction and stability even in fully loaded vehicles. The Kumho Portran KC53 is available in all standard sizes from 14 to 16 inches.
